We come to your doorstep, weigh everything in front of you, then shred it all at our facility using a Shariah-compliant method to DIN 66399 P-5 standard. Drop Off at Masjid Abdul Aleem Siddique: No Booking Fee

For anyone searching "near me", this is the closest thing we have to a place you can go to. Masjid Abdul Aleem Siddique is our partner masjid, and it is the only drop-off point that exists for this service.

• When: the last Saturday of every month, 2pm to 5pm.
• Booking fee: $0. There is no booking fee at all for drop-off.
• Weight charges: the same as doorstep collection. $5.50 per kg for paper and books, $7 per kg for frames and non-paper. Everything is weighed at drop-off.
• Give-back: the masjid receives $2.50 for every kilogram you drop off. A 20 kg drop-off sends $50 to the masjid.

So 10 kg of old books dropped off comes to $55, and 20 kg comes to $110, with no booking fee on top. Everything you drop off goes to our facility and through the same Shariah-compliant micro-shredding as a doorstep collection.

Why "Near Me" Does Not Matter for Collection

Most people searching this way are hoping their mosque or a nearby centre will take their old Qurans. Sometimes that works. Some mosques run collection drives from time to time, and if yours has one coming up soon, that is a good free option worth taking. But drives are occasional. They may not accept frames, cassettes, sejadah with printed verses or large volumes. And between drives, the boxes sit in your storeroom for months.

Our service runs year-round, by appointment, and takes the full range: Quran and mushaf, kitab, hadith books, madrasah textbooks and workbooks, Yasin books, doa and tahlil booklets, khutbah notes, Islamic worksheets and notes, Islamic calendars with ayat, framed ayat and calligraphy, Islamic ornaments and plaques, tasbih and keepsakes, wedding and kenduri cards with Bismillah, newspaper clippings with Quranic text, sejadah and telekung printed with verses, banners and posters with ayat, cassettes or VCDs of Quran recitation, and general books, magazines and papers.

One thing we do not handle: talismans, wafaq, or items tied to spiritual practices. Please keep those out of your boxes.

How Doorstep Collection Works

The process is the same wherever you live in Singapore:

1. You book over WhatsApp at (+65) 8383 1987. Pick your area, date and time slot, and tell us roughly what you have. No payment is needed upfront. We confirm your slot over WhatsApp.
2. We come to your doorstep on your area's collection day and weigh your materials on our digital platform scale, in front of you. You see the exact weight and cost before anything leaves your home.
3. We transport everything to our facility at 66 Tannery Lane. We do not shred at your door.
4. We micro-shred to DIN 66399 P-5 standard, so no verse remains readable.

Collection days are fixed by area. North and West is Mondays and Fridays. East and Central is Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Slots are morning, 9am to 12pm, or afternoon, 12pm to 4pm. We collect on weekdays only. There are no sorting rules to memorise and no packing standards to meet. Now, here is what collection looks like in your part of the island.

North: Woodlands, Yishun, Sembawang

Woodlands, Yishun, Sembawang, Admiralty and Canberra sit in our North and West area, so we collect there on Mondays and Fridays, morning or afternoon. These estates are at the far end of the island from our facility, and that makes no difference to you. There is no surcharge for the north. The booking fee is a flat $20 islandwide, or $10 with a partner masjid code, ALEEM10 for Masjid Abdul Aleem Siddique or KHALID10 for Masjid Khalid, and the drive is our problem, not yours. We confirm your slot over WhatsApp, so you are not waiting at home all day wondering when the doorbell will ring.

East: Tampines, Bedok, Pasir Ris, Simei

Tampines, Bedok, Pasir Ris and Simei are home to some of the largest Muslim communities in Singapore. They sit in our East and Central area, so we collect there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Choose morning, 9am to 12pm, or afternoon, 12pm to 4pm, whichever fits your day better. At your door, the weighing happens in front of you, kilo by kilo, and the price follows the scale. One useful tip for east-side families: if your parents or siblings live nearby, gather everyone's materials at one address. A single booking covers everything we collect at that doorstep, so one booking fee can clear three households' shelves.

West: Jurong East, Jurong West, Clementi, Bukit Batok

Jurong East, Jurong West, Clementi, Bukit Batok, Bukit Panjang and Choa Chu Kang sit in our North and West area, so we collect there on Mondays and Fridays. A note that matters in some of the older western blocks: lifts that do not stop on every floor. If that is your block, tell us when you book. Our collector plans for the stairs and carries the boxes down. You do not need to shift anything to the lift landing or the void deck before we arrive. Central: Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, Kallang, Geylang Serai

The central estates are our nearest neighbours. Our facility sits at 66 Tannery Lane in the Macpherson area, so Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, Kallang and Geylang Serai are only minutes away. They sit in our East and Central area, so we collect there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Materials collected here take the shortest ride to the shredder. Geylang Serai deserves a special mention. In the weeks around Ramadan and Hari Raya, many families do a proper clear-out, and old doa booklets, Islamic calendars and kenduri cards with Bismillah printed on them surface by the stack. All of it is accepted, and all of it goes through the same Shariah-compliant micro-shredding at our facility.

North-East: Hougang, Sengkang, Punggol, Serangoon

Hougang, Sengkang, Punggol and Serangoon are fully covered, including the newest BTO clusters in Punggol. Choose the area that matches your address in the booking box, and the calendar will show you the collection dates available to you. Blocks here run tall, and framed ayat or large calligraphy pieces can be awkward to bring down: glass edges, narrow lift doors, nowhere safe to set them while you wait. Our Facility Sits Near the Centre of the Island

After collection, your materials travel to our facility at 66 Tannery Lane, Sindo Building, Singapore 347805, in the Macpherson area. Macpherson is close to the geographic centre of Singapore, which keeps our routes short in every direction and lets us serve Tuas and Sembawang on the same footing as Toa Payoh. At the facility, everything is micro-shredded to DIN 66399 P-5 standard. That is a high security standard: particles smaller than 30 square millimetres, far too small for any ayat to survive readable, which is the condition set out in Singapore's Fatwa Committee ruling on shredding. The facility is not open to the public and there are no walk-ins. It is where our work happens, not yours. If you want to hand materials over in person, use the masjid drop-off described above.

One Flat Price, Islandwide

Pricing is simple and identical in every postal district. Books and papers are $5.50 per kg. Frames and harder materials are $7 per kg. The booking fee is a flat $20, or $10 with a partner masjid code, ALEEM10 or KHALID10, and that fee does not change with distance.

• At the standard $20 booking fee: 3 kg of books is $36.50, 10 kg is $75, and 20 kg is $130.
• With code ALEEM10 or KHALID10 and the $10 booking fee: 3 kg is $26.50, 10 kg is $65, and 20 kg is $120.
• At the masjid drop-off, with no booking fee: 10 kg is $55, and 20 kg is $110.
